Eric’s Bio

Founder & Movement Geek

I founded Precision Movement out of a desire to help active people get back to and keep doing the things they love, because I know first hand what it’s like to be shut down (was out of commission for months following major back surgery as a teen) and how shitty that felt not just physically, but also psychologically.

Not being able to play sports – the one thing I loved to do more in the world than anything else – got me in a serious funk.

This is a big reason why I’m so passionate about helping people move freely and without pain.

Now, if you’ll indulge me for just a minute longer, I’d like to share some of my beliefs with you.

I believe that…

… life is better in every way imaginable when it’s active.

… age is just a number and while it undoubtedly slows the rate at which we improve and delays our recovery, it’s a factor we have no influence over. So there’s no point in thinking about it other than when it’s time to blow out the candles.

… as a society we’re becoming too accustomed to instant gratification and short term gains, which sets us up for long-term pains.

… movement and mobility are treated as an after-thought (if thought about at all) when in fact, restoring optimal function and mobility should be prioritized over outcomes like strength, power and endurance because when neglected, injuries will occur reversing the performance gains you worked so hard for.

That’s a bit about who I am. Thanks for listening.

I hope in some way I’m able to help you eliminate pain, improve mobility and get back to and keep doing the things you love through our articles, videos and courses.
